Mediatech Africa is the continent's largest media and entertainment technology trade exhibition. Mediatech Africa 2011, once again, did not disappoint, with 125 exhibiting companies, which represented 880 brands, attended by 6400 visitors.
TID is proud to announce that we have received a Gold stand award for our combination of the 3 areas we were represented in - TID’s main stand (D23), TID MI showcase, and the outside demo area. Independent judges adjudicated, based on the criteria of merchandising, customer orientation, user friendliness, stand, and marketing compatibility evaluated the stands.
TID’s main stand was D23, which was located in the middle of the show, next to the coffee bar area. This stand represented seven of the brands distributed by TID, namely beyerdynamic, Bose, Bittner, Barix, Biamp, Cloud and Atterotech. Included in the stand was a Guitar Wall, which included Vintage, Burns, Carparelli, and Fret King Guitars. The TID MI showcase was located in Castle Corner. This venue allowed TID unprecedented space to showcase the latest developments in our MI brand portfolio. TID had a full stage set up complete with the full Bose L1 range, as well as beyerdynamic’s brilliant TG Microphone range. The guitar brands on display included Vintage, Fret king, Encore, Burns and Carparelli.
TID are proud sponsors of The Graeme Watkins Project, who played an hour-long acoustic set each day. GWP used beyerdynamic mics, and the Bose L1 range. The outside demo area at Mediatech is always very popular as this is the only stage where visitors could hear the full extent of the products on offer. TID displayed on a Stageline portable stage, which was 20 meters long, 15 meters high and 10 meters deep. The products on display were the LT range of Bose loudspeakers and the MA12EX Modular Array speaker, all which were paired with the ever-popular Bose MB24 subs.
TID is proud of what we have achieved over the last year and would like to invite you to talk to us on any ideas and questions you might have. We are already looking forward to Mediatech Africa 2013.
